How many years can I expect my EarthBox to last?Updated a year ago

As long as you follow our winterizing instructions and take care of it, the EarthBox will last for decades. We are proud to say that we still have EarthBoxes in use today that are over 30 years old!

One thing to keep in mind is that you may eventually see the color of the box begin to fade. Although we use strong UV inhibitors, years/decades of prolonged sun exposure will eventually wear those down. If your EarthBox does begin to fade, don't worry! That does not impact the functionality of our grow box. You could consider painting the outside of the box. Ensure you never paint the inside of the EarthBox so that your growing conditions remain food-safe.
