Which size Staking System do I need? 3', 5', or 7'?Updated a month ago
We provide three height options for our Staking System, 3-ft, 5-ft, and 7-ft. The best size depends on what you're growing. If you already have our trellis system, you can buy our extension kit to increase the height to the next size.
3' Staking System: Provides optimal support to reinforce top-heavy plants that need some structure near the bottom and crops that typically reach a maximum height of 3 feet. When assembled, the total height is 30.75” with casters and 28.25” without casters.
- Peppers, eggplant, zucchini/summer squash, determinate patio/bush tomatoes, ground/husk cherries, tomatillos
5' Staking System: Perfect for growing most vining plants that need a trellis for support. When assembled, the total height is 58” with casters and 55.75” without casters.
- Tomatoes, peas/pole beans, winter squash (butternut, acorn, spaghetti, etc.), melons, pumpkins/gourds, blackberries
7' Staking System: Ideal for growing exceptionally unruly plants that need extra support for extended growth. When assembled, the total height is 85.5” with casters and 83” without casters.
- Indeterminate cherry/grape/pear tomatoes, cucumbers, Malabar spinach, peas/pole beans, blackberries
